About Kids & Company

Our Philosophy

We recognize the importance of a safe, nurturing environment for children. As an extension of the child’s family, a quality child care program provides encouragement and support in social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth. Our programs are devoted to quality care and education. Staff and parents working together can provide children with a positive self-image and the ability to take the next step in their overall growth with confidence.

Our Purpose
  • Provide quality education and child care for children ages 2½ years - 12 years.
  • Eliminate the need for young children to remain home alone.
  • Increase consistency in a child’s daily routine.
  • Increase a child’s stability, resulting in better social, emotional, and psychological well-being.

    Our Goals
    1) Provide a safe, well-supervised atmosphere by stressing fun, mutual respect and cooperation.
    2) Provide opportunities which stimulate each child’s imagination and encourage creative self-expression.
    3) Encourage involvement in numerous activities to promote physical, emotional and social growth.
    4) Encourage independent and group play, self-motivation, free choice and cooperation with others.
    5) Add positively to each child’s self image and overall growth.
    6) Encourage parent involvement in the education of their children.
    7) Work in partnership with parents and teachers in building mutual understanding and consistency for children.
